I thought this was a lovely meditation. I really liked the observations on the changing attitudes towards death.
ReplyDeleteAre believers really spared doubt, though? For a Christian, at least, faith is, in the first place, *trust* in God (or perhaps Jesus). Trust in any relationship is a matter of degree, and takes work.
